Fear measures everything with a broken ruler. Go check the actual size yourself.
RESILIENCE
RESILIENCE
Fear is not a neutral instrument. It systematically reads things as larger, sooner and more permanent than they are, which was useful when the danger was physical and is mostly noise now. The size of the feeling tells you the alarm is on. It tells you nothing reliable about the size of the thing that set it off.
Go and get the real dimensions. What actually happens if this goes wrong, who actually finds out, how long does it actually last. Write the answers down, because the honest version is usually survivable and the imagined one was not.
What would you find if you measured that fear honestly?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
