The street you grew up on is a starting line, not a fence.
RESILIENCE
RESILIENCE
Where you started describes your first few years, not the shape of the rest of it. A street can teach you a great deal and still be a place you leave, and leaving is not a verdict on anyone who stayed. The fence gets added later, usually by everybody quietly agreeing that people from here do not do that.
Name one thing you assume is not for people like you. Test it in the smallest way available: an email, a form, a visit, one conversation with somebody who did it. Let the world answer instead of the assumption.
What does your hometown say about you that is not true?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
