Timing is leverage when other people cannot tolerate waiting.

LEADERSHIP
When others cannot bear to wait, time itself becomes something you can use. Their impatience pushes them into concessions, disclosures, and early commitments that you can respond to. The advantage does not require any cleverness, only the capacity to sit still.
In a negotiation or a stalemate, notice who has the deadline and who does not. If it is not you, let that fact do some work. Being genuinely comfortable waiting is often the whole of your leverage.
Where does your willingness to wait give you an advantage?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
