Having vision is great. Having vision and a calendar is how things actually get built.

A clear picture of what you want to build tells you nothing about which Tuesday it happens on. Vision runs on excitement, which is not available on demand, while a calendar runs on decisions you already made when you were thinking clearly. Nothing takes the poetry out of a plan like dates, and dates are what turn a plan into an object. People who finish rarely have the best pictures in their heads.

Put the next three steps of your project into a real calendar with times attached. Make them small enough to be believable. Protect them the way you would protect something you promised somebody else.
