Show enough that the right people can find you.

Total visibility is not the goal and is mostly a burden. What you actually need is enough of a signal that the specific people who would value your work can identify you. That is a much smaller and more achievable target.

Think about who you want to be found by and what they would search for. Make sure there is something findable that speaks to them. You do not need an audience, only the right handful of people knowing you exist.
