If you want God’s plan, you have to be okay with Him having an opinion on your plan.

Asking for God’s plan while holding your own as non negotiable is really asking for approval. A plan you will not let Him touch is not submitted, it is just being shown. Wanting direction means accepting that some of it may come back different from how you sent it.

Take the plan you are most attached to and say it out loud in prayer, honestly. Add that you are willing for the answer to be no or later. Then watch whether you actually leave the question open for a week.
