Leading like Jesus means eating with the people your friends would rather ignore.

Who you eat with is a statement whether or not you meant it as one. Jesus is consistently at the wrong table, with the people the respectable crowd had already filed away. Copying that costs you something socially, which is exactly why it registers as leadership rather than niceness. It is also not a rescue mission, it is just lunch.

Sit somewhere different once this week and do not announce it. Ask ordinary questions and stay long enough to hear the answers. If your friends comment, say you wanted to and leave it there.
