People hold on to things and sometimes bring them out years later, and there is not much you can do about that. Heaven’s copy is gone, which is stranger and more serious than it sounds, because forgiveness is not a promise that everybody forgets. Living free while somebody still has evidence is the actual test.

Own the thing where you need to and then stop reopening the file yourself. If it surfaces, answer honestly and do not perform the shame again. What God deleted does not have to be restored from somebody else’s backup.
