God answers some prayers for courage by handing you a situation that requires it.

Courage is not a substance that gets delivered in advance. It is what you find you had after standing in something that required it, which means the prayer often gets answered with a situation rather than a feeling. Nothing about being scared at the start means the request was refused.

When the hard conversation or the difficult room arrives this week, consider that it might be the answer rather than the obstacle. Go in without waiting to feel brave. Look back afterwards and notice what you actually did while frightened.
