The mirror shows you a face. God sees a purpose.

GRATITUDE

WHAT THIS MEANS

A mirror can only report the surface, and it reports it badly. Bad lighting, four hours of sleep, whatever you were already braced to notice. It hands you a snapshot and you treat it like a verdict. God is looking at something glass was never built to show, which is what you are for and who you are becoming.

Notice how long you stand there and what you are actually asking the mirror to tell you. If the real question is whether you are worth anything, that is not a question it can answer. Take that one somewhere else, then go be useful to somebody today.
