Gratitude turns the same bedroom into a blessing and the same lunch into a feast.
GRATITUDE
GRATITUDE
Nothing in the room has to change. The ceiling is the same, the sandwich is the same, and still what you notice decides almost everything about how the day lands on you. Gratitude is not pretending a small thing is enormous. It is looking long enough to see that the ordinary thing was given, and was never guaranteed to you.
Choose one thing you use daily without thinking, like a bed, hot water, or food that was there when you got home. Thank God for that single thing before you eat tomorrow. Do it out loud if you can, because the silent version tends to get skipped.
Which unchanged part of your day could look different tomorrow?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
