A new town, a new school, the same God. He moved in before the boxes did.

GRATITUDE
Moving strips away nearly every external thing you used to know yourself by. The lunch table, the routes, the people who already got your jokes. What does not move is God, who was in that town before your family decided anything, and that is a strange comfort while everything else is in boxes. Continuity has to come from somewhere, and it will not be the furniture.
Give yourself a slower timeline than you want. Find one regular thing a week, a club, a shift, a service, and go even when it is uncomfortable. Talk to God about the new place like He was already living there.
What stayed with you through your last big move?
