Creativity is how you say thank you for being made in the image of a Creator.

Making things is not decoration added on top of a life. You come from a Creator who made everything out of nothing and enjoyed it, so the pull to build, draw, cook, write, or arrange is part of the resemblance rather than a hobby. That is why making something feels like relief when nothing else does. It works as thanks without a word being said.

Make one thing this week for no reason beyond its existing. It does not have to be good and it does not have to be shown to anyone. Notice how you feel afterward, because that reaction is worth paying attention to.
