Nobody gets saved by a hot take. People get changed by consistent kindness.

Arguments that win online do not change minds, they end exchanges. A clever line makes the other person defensive, and defensive people do not reconsider anything, they reload. Nobody has been argued into faith by a post, while plenty have been changed by somebody who stayed kind to them for a year. That takes months and earns no applause.

Resist the reply you have already drafted in your head. Choose one person you disagree with and be reliably decent to them for a whole season. Ask about their life more often than you correct their opinion.
