FOMO fades when you realize God’s plan doesn’t have a sold-out date.

The fear of missing out runs on scarcity, on the idea that the good thing is happening right now, in that room, and if you are not there it is gone. Most of what you missed was thinner than it looked in the video. Beyond that, what God has for you is not a limited release with a queue outside. Nothing sold out before you arrived.

When the feeling hits, wait an hour before you react to it. Ask whether you wanted to be there or wanted to have been there. Then do something real with the evening you already have.
