Proximity does a lot of work that feels like friendship. Sitting near somebody every day for two years builds genuine warmth, and it is hard to tell which part was the person and which was the timetable. When the shared room disappears, some of it quietly stops, and that is not a betrayal on either side. The room was holding it up.
Try not to read every fade as a verdict on you. Reach out once to the ones you actually want, because a few come back with effort. Let the rest have been good while they lasted.
Which of your friendships were really just shared schedules?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
