Some seasons you won’t post anything, because everything’s happening underground.

Public output and actual progress run on different schedules. There are stretches where all the work is preparation, repair or thinking, none of which photographs well or makes sense to explain. Silence in those months reads as absence from the outside and feels like the opposite from within. Roots take a while before anything shows above the line.

Give yourself permission to be quiet while something is still forming. Keep a private record so you can see the work even when nobody else can. Come back to the public part when there is something you actually want to show.
