Imagine you’d never get caught. Whatever you’d do then is who you actually are right now.

Behaviour that exists only because someone might find out is not character, it is compliance. Take the cameras away and what remains is the actual shape of you. That test is uncomfortable, because most people find a small gap between the version they perform and the version that would show up unwatched. The gap is normal, and ignoring it is what lets it widen.

Run the thought honestly once this week, on something small. If the answer bothers you, do not spiral about it. Close the gap one inch, in one situation, and let that be the whole project.
