Leadership that switches on when there is an audience is a performance with a leadership theme. The tell is not whether you post about it, it is whether the effort survives the camera being put away, because a team can feel the gap immediately even when they cannot describe it. What you do in the unrecorded hours is what they are actually deciding about you. The recorded parts are just decoration on top of that.

Do one leaderly thing this week that nobody will ever know about. Fix the thing quietly, take the worst job, stay behind. Keep it to yourself deliberately.
