Feeling like you don’t deserve the role is normal. Doing the work anyway is how you grow into it.

LEADERSHIP
Feeling out of place in a role you were given is ordinary and says very little about whether you can do it. Nearly everyone who has been handed something before they felt ready has had the same running commentary about being found out. The feeling is not evidence. It usually just means the job is bigger than the last one, which is what makes it worth having.
Do the next piece of the work while the doubt is still talking. Ask the question you think you should already know the answer to. Competence tends to arrive after the action, not before it.
Which role do you hold while still feeling like a fraud?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
