Energy is a budget. Spend some of yours hyping somebody else’s small win this week.

Attention is limited and it mostly gets spent on yourself, which is understandable and also a waste of something with an unusually high return. Naming somebody else’s small win costs about eight seconds and changes how they feel about it for days. It changes how they see you too, though that is not the reason to do it. Most small wins evaporate simply because nobody said them out loud.
Notice one improvement this week that would otherwise go unmentioned and say it directly to the person. Be specific about what got better. Then say it once more where other people can hear.
Whose small win could you make a big deal of?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
