Nobody follows a map drawn in pencil and erased every Monday. Pick a direction and hold it long enough to learn something.

LEADERSHIP

WHAT THIS MEANS

Direction needs to hold still long enough to produce results, and results are the only way to learn whether it was right. Change it every week and you never get past the setup phase, and people around you stop investing because nothing lasts. Adjusting is fine. Restarting is a different activity that feels like progress and produces none.

Pick a direction and put a date on it, far enough out to actually test something. Let yourself change the route but not the destination before that date. Then review properly rather than on a bad Monday.

A QUESTION TO SIT WITH

How often do you change direction before learning anything?
