Kindness is soft power. It doesn’t push, and somehow everyone still moves toward it.

Pressure makes people brace. Kindness gets past that because there is nothing to resist, so people come closer on their own and keep coming back. It is not a technique, and it stops working the second it becomes one. The pull comes from it being real, which is also why it needs no maintenance.

Do one small kind thing this week where nobody is watching and nothing comes back. Save someone a seat, answer the question patiently the third time, remember what they told you last week. You are not building a reputation, you are making yourself a place people want to be near.
