Create value that travels further than your direct involvement.

Most of what you do reaches only as far as your own hands and stops when you do. Some of it keeps moving, because someone learned from it, reused it, or built on top of it. What separates the two is usually whether the value was locked inside your particular presence or made portable enough for others to carry.

Ask whether anyone could use what you produced without you in the room. If not, the gap is often just a written explanation or a cleaned-up version. That small extra effort is what lets the thing travel.
