Sunday night isn’t for dreading Monday. It’s for deciding who shows up to it.

REFLECTION
Dread mostly comes from having no say. Sunday evening feels heavy because Monday is arriving either way, and everything in you is bracing for it rather than aiming at it. The part that is genuinely yours is what kind of person turns up at eight in the morning, and that gets decided the night before whether you decide it or not.
Choose it deliberately. Pick one thing you will do well on Monday and one person you will be decent to. The week still comes, and you are no longer only receiving it.
Who do you want walking into Monday morning as you?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
