Zooming out is useful. Zooming out so far that nothing matters is just a fancy way of giving up.

Zooming out is a tool, and like any tool it can be turned into an excuse. Saying nothing matters in the long run does take the pressure off, and it removes every reason to try, which is most of the appeal. It arrives sounding like wisdom and behaves like an exit door.
Notice which direction your perspective is pointing. The useful kind ends with you doing the thing more calmly. The other kind ends with you doing nothing and calling it maturity, so check which one you just did.
Where do you use bigger perspective as an excuse to quit?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
