Practice being the person you want available during difficult moments.
REFLECTION
REFLECTION
The version of you that shows up in a crisis is not summoned by the crisis. It is whichever version you have practised most, which is usually the everyday one. Difficult moments do not build character so much as reveal what was already there and hand it the controls.
Think about who you would want to be in a hard hour, then find a small way to be that person this week. Calm, honest, steady in something minor. That is the rehearsal.
Who do you need yourself to be when things get hard?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
