Loss is a harsh teacher, but it’s crystal clear. It shows you exactly what you had.
REFLECTION
REFLECTION
Absence measures things exactly. While something is still around it blends into the background, and the moment it is gone you can see its whole shape and what it was holding up. That clarity is real, and it is also expensive, and nobody would have chosen to buy it this way. Naming it a lesson too quickly is unfair to how much it hurts.
If you are carrying one, there is no task here and no schedule. When you have room, the one thing worth doing is pointing that clarity at what is still here. Call the person while calling is possible.
What did you only see clearly once it was gone?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
