REFLECTION
Being outside a group in one place gets read as a permanent verdict, mostly because the group in front of you feels like the entire world for a few years. Fit depends on who happens to be in the building, what they are into, and when they got there. None of that is a measurement of whether you are easy to like.
Widen the pool this week instead of working harder on the same door. A club, a team, a job, a group online built around the thing you are actually into. Most people find their people by changing rooms, not by becoming somebody else in this one.
Where might your people be gathering without you knowing yet?
