Clouds look solid until you fly through them. Most fears work the same way.

Solidity is a trick of distance. A cloud has a hard edge and a definite shape from a mile away and turns out to be damp air the moment you are inside it, and a lot of dreaded things behave identically: the conversation, the first shift, the audition. They look impassable from outside because you are seeing the outline rather than the substance.
Take the thing you have been circling and get one small step inside it this week. Send the first message, turn up to the first session, ask the first question. You are not testing your courage, you are testing whether the edge is real.
Which fear looked solid until you walked straight into it?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
