Some opportunities come back around. Some don’t. Patience means knowing which is which before you pass.

STILLNESS

WHAT THIS MEANS

Patience is not one thing, it is a sorting job. Some doors reopen every year and cost nothing to walk past. Others open once, quietly, and the people who miss them mostly did not know which kind they were looking at. Waiting well depends on telling the two apart before the moment goes.

Ask one question when something is offered: does this still exist in six months. Concerts and sales and most things you can buy usually do. A person offering to teach you something, a team with one spot, a summer that happens once, often do not.
