Curiosity is better company than most people. Follow it somewhere by yourself.

Interest does not need anybody else present to be worth having. When something catches you and you go after it, hours pass without any effort at being entertained, and you come out holding more than you went in with. Company is good, though company also negotiates, and you tend to land on the compromise version of what everyone wanted. On your own you can go straight at the thing.

Chase something you have been mildly curious about this week without waiting for anyone to come along. A museum, a rabbit hole, a part of town you never walk through. Nobody else has to find it interesting.
