Not everyone needs access to every part of you. Privacy isn’t secrecy; it’s curation.

STILLNESS

WHAT THIS MEANS

Openness gets treated as a virtue with no upper limit, but telling everyone everything is not honesty, it is volume. Different people have earned different amounts of context, and matching what you share to that is not deception. It is the same judgment you already use about what you say to a teacher versus a close friend. Secrecy hides something that matters, while curation only decides who is in the room for it.

Think about something you have been sharing widely and ask who actually needed it. Pick the two or three who did. Practice a short version for everyone else, since a short version is still true.
