Not every open door is an opportunity. Some are just drafts.

Availability is not the same as value. Plenty of things are open to you precisely because nobody else wanted them, and the fact that you were invited says more about their need than your fit. Taking every chance that appears is how your months fill with things you did not choose. An opening is a question, not an answer.
When something is offered, ask why it is available and who else turned it down. Check whether it moves you toward anything you actually want, or just keeps you busy. Saying no to a mediocre opportunity is how you stay free for the one worth taking.
Which offer looked like a chance until you felt the draft?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
