Some chess games are won by the pawn nobody was watching. Stay small until the last square.

LEADERSHIP
Being overlooked is a position, and sometimes it is the best one available. Nobody blocks what they have not registered as a threat, so the piece that stayed quiet gets to keep moving while everyone else is busy with each other. Nothing about that requires you to be small. It only requires that you do not announce what you are doing.
Keep going with whatever you are working on without adding commentary. Let people assign you the role they have already decided on and use the room it gives you. Arriving is what changes their mind, and by then it is too late for anyone to prepare.
Where are you being underestimated in a way that helps you?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
