Stop pitching your dream to people who’ve already decided it’s impossible. Show them the result later.

GRATITUDE

WHAT THIS MEANS

Some people settled what is possible long before you showed up, and your plan is simply landing on that old decision. Arguing puts your energy into changing a person rather than building a thing, and it rarely works, because evidence is not what they are weighing. It also leaves you defending something that does not exist yet, which is the most fragile it will ever be. Going quiet about it is not the same as giving up.

Stop bringing updates to that audience. Tell the two or three people who are genuinely useful, and go make the thing. Results are a much shorter conversation than plans.
