Trust doesn’t announce itself. It’s the moment you stop wondering and just relax.

Trust is easier to notice by what goes missing. There is no moment when it arrives, only the slow disappearance of background checking: rereading a message for tone, wondering what a pause meant, doing the arithmetic on whether they meant it. One day you notice you have not done any of that in months. The quiet is the whole thing.
Look for the relationships where your shoulders drop, and spend more of your week there. If you are building that with somebody, keep being boringly consistent, since that is what people relax around. It shows up as calm long before anyone names it.
Around whom have you stopped second-guessing every word you say?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
