RESILIENCE
Damage and function are separate questions, and they get confused constantly. Something can be visibly marked and still do everything it exists to do, which is true of objects and truer of people. What looks broken from outside is frequently just worn. Being chipped describes a surface rather than reporting on a capability.
Ask what you can still do instead of cataloguing what got damaged. Do one of those things today, in front of people if you can manage it. Repair where repair is available, and in the meantime keep using what works.
What still works in you despite the visible damage?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
