Procrastination is stealing time from future you and leaving a sticky note that says “good luck.”
REFLECTION
REFLECTION
Putting something off does not remove the work, it relocates it to a person with less time and the same reluctance. The relief you feel is real and it is borrowed at a poor rate, because the task usually grows while it waits. What looks like rest now is a scheduling decision made against yourself.
Do the first two minutes of the thing you are avoiding, without committing to finish it. Starting is nearly always the part being avoided rather than the work itself. If it still feels impossible, make the task smaller until it does not.
What are you putting off that only grows heavier?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
