You don’t find your voice by thinking about it. You find it by talking until you recognize yourself.

CREATIVITY
Deliberating about how you want to sound produces self consciousness rather than style. Voice emerges from volume: you make enough things that patterns appear, and eventually you read something back and recognize it as unmistakably yours. The recognition comes after the material exists, never before.
Write or talk or make far more than feels necessary, without pausing to evaluate the tone. Every few months, read a stretch of it in one sitting. The parts that sound like you will be obvious from that distance, and then you can lean into them on purpose.
What did you hear yourself say that sounded like you?
