Draw something tonight and don’t photograph it. Let one piece exist only for the pleasure of making it.
STILLNESS
STILLNESS
When everything gets documented, part of your attention shifts during the making toward how it will look afterward. That shift is subtle and it changes what you produce, because you begin optimising for the record rather than for the thing. Something unrecorded stays entirely in the present tense.
Make one piece this week that nobody else will ever see. No photograph, no post, no showing it later. Notice whether the making feels different once the audience has been removed from the room.
What would you make if nobody would ever see it?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
