Broke your streak? Day one can still be today. Waiting for Monday just makes the gap longer.

RESILIENCE

WHAT THIS MEANS

A broken run only becomes a stopped habit if the restart waits for a tidy starting point. Monday is appealing because it feels clean, and the days in between get written off, which turns a single miss into a week. Nothing about the calendar has any bearing on whether you can do the thing this afternoon.

Start again at the next available moment, even on a Thursday evening and even in a smaller version. Do not recount from zero as a punishment. The number that matters is how quickly you came back, not how long the run was.

A QUESTION TO SIT WITH

What are you postponing until Monday for no real reason?
