Affection for people who are easy to like is mostly circumstance. It costs nothing and proves nothing, which is why the character of your love only becomes visible with someone irritating, unfair, or careless with your things. That is the point where it stops being a feeling and becomes a decision that requires help to keep.

Pick the person who most reliably annoys you and do one genuinely generous thing for them this week, without making it a lesson. Be civil in the small daily ways. You are not required to like them, only to stay decent.
