When you make something, you’re echoing the first thing God ever did.
CREATIVITY
CREATIVITY
Making something is not a minor hobby appended to a serious life. The first thing described in the account is creation, which places the impulse to build, write, cook, draw or repair close to the center rather than at the edges. When you make something, you are doing a small version of something very old.
Give whatever you make actual time this week rather than the scraps left at the end. Finish one thing, however small, and let it be imperfect. Treat the impulse to create as worth following, not as something to outgrow.
What have you made recently just because you wanted it to exist?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
