God has never once been nervous about your future.
REFLECTION
REFLECTION
Your future is the object of enormous anxiety at your end and none at the other. Worry works by making your vigilance feel load-bearing, as though the outcome depended on how hard you think about it at night. Nothing about your situation is a surprise to the One holding it.
Write the worry down in one plain sentence, since most of them shrink once they have to be specific. Ask what part of it is yours to do this week, and do that part. Hand the rest over, and when it comes back at midnight, hand it over again rather than starting the case from the beginning.
Which part of your future keeps you awake the most?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
