Time is the one resource with no reserve. An hour spent building one thing is not merely used, it is subtracted from every other future that hour could have contributed to. Because nothing announces this at the time, it is possible to spend years funding a version of your life you would not have chosen deliberately.

Look at where your regular hours go and ask which future each one is buying. If most of them are buying something you do not want, redirect a small portion this week. The reallocation compounds quietly.
