An identity crisis is a renovation with the lights still on. Loud, dusty and temporary.
RESILIENCE
RESILIENCE
Not knowing who you are is loud, disorienting and generally mistaken for a breakdown when it is closer to a rebuild. The walls are down, the dust is everywhere, and nothing is where you left it, which is exactly what the middle of any structural change looks like. Unpleasant does not mean broken.
Lower the expectations you place on yourself while this is going on, the way you would in a house full of scaffolding. Keep eating and sleeping properly. Decide as little as possible until some of the dust settles.
What feels loud and unfinished inside you right now?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
