The version of you on a random weekend somewhere else is exactly as real as the one in front of people who know you. There is no off-duty setting for this.

Look at where your standards quietly relax: a certain place, a certain group, a certain hour of the night. Hold one of them steady this week in that exact spot. That is where the real work sits.
