Prevention asks you to care before fear makes caring obvious.
RESILIENCE
RESILIENCE
Care motivated by fear arrives late, once the threat is obvious and the options are reduced. Prevention asks for it earlier, at a point where nothing is frightening and the caring has to come from somewhere else: from valuing the thing, or from having decided in advance what you want to keep.
Decide now what you would be most upset to lose. Then act on that decision while it is still calm. Caring on purpose is more reliable than caring under pressure.
What would you start protecting now if you had a scare?
