Interesting people are usually just interested people who kept going.

Being interesting is not a personality you are issued at birth. It is the residue of curiosity that was followed rather than dropped, over years, into odd corners nobody assigned. Someone who kept reading about bridges or bees or old maps eventually has something to say about bridges and bees and old maps, and that is what other people end up calling charisma.

Notice what you look up when no one is watching, then go one step further than usual with it. Read the long version, or find the person who knows more. Curiosity becomes interesting only when you refuse to let it be brief.
